WHY MALAYSIA?  

Malaysia is blessed with nice warm weather all year round. It is also located outside of "ring of fire", which spares it from experiencing earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Excellent Highways

Malaysia's highway system comprises several types of roads. There are Federal Roads, State Roads and Municipal Roads, all of which make up one of South-east Asia's most advanced road systems. 
A distance of about 66,000km is covered. Major road transportation networks include the North-South Expressway, East-West Highway, Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP), the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and the Federal Highway Route 2.

PETRONAS Twin Tower, KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

The 88-storey PETRONAS Twin Towers is located at the North-west corner of the 100-acre Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) development, and the Towers standing majestically at 452 meters. 
The design, created by renowned architect, Cesar Pelli & Associates of the USA was selected through an international design competition held in 1991. A 58.4 meter sky bridge at levels 41 and 42 links the Twin Towers. The unique double-deck sky bridge stands 170 meters above street level with its arch support forming a symbolic gate way to the city center.

 Genting Highland - City of Entertainment

2,000 meters above sea level, Genting Highlands, a magnificent city on the hilltop, is but a mere 50km from Kuala Lumpur. It offers a cool respite from the hustle and bustle of the city capital. Lush green tropical rainforest shrouded
in a veil of perpetual mist makes it hard to believe that you are just minutes away from the sweltering equatorial heat and the ever dusty city.

Besides the cool air and scenic surroundings, this hilltop city also houses the country's one and only casino. In addition to the casino, this hilltop resort also has a theme park of its own and an entertainment center.

Niah Caves, Sarawak. 

It is considered the largest cavern in the region. The floor area of the cave has been calculated at almost 10 hectares and in places the cave roof rises a majestic 75 meters above the rubble-strewn floor. 
It also contains the oldest remains of Homo sapiens found in Borneo, a skull found in layers dated to around 40,000 years.

Mount Kinabalu, Sabah

Mt Kinabalu, which lies in Sabah in northern Borneo, is at 4100 m the highest peak between the Himalayas and Papua New Guinea. Mount Kinabalu is known to be one of the most accessible in the world. No specialized mountain climbing skills are required to ascend it. The trail that most tourists use is described as a 'trek and scramble'. Locals begin climbing the mountain from the age of 3 and the oldest person to reach the peak was 80 years old. However, how much one enjoys the climb depends strongly on how fit you are and how well you acclimatise to the thin air at the higher levels.

  • Government support: This program is initiated, organized and launched by the Malaysia Government. It is, therefore, a program, that the Government will continuously work to ensure its success.   • Weather: The weather is pleasant, warm and balmy with moderate rain throughout the year. There are also highland residential areas and resorts with permanent spring-like weather throughout the country.

  • Infrastructure: The whole country is very well connected with up-to-date, modern road, rail, air and sea transportation system. Public transport by buses, taxis, trains and planes are comfortable, efficient and relatively low in cost.

  • Political stability: The ruling Government is the longest serving freely elected Government in the world. It is a Government representing all the races, religions, cultures etc. found in Malaysia. In fact, Malaysia is one of the most politically stable countries in the world.

  • Rule of law: The rule of law is one of the fundamentals in Malaysia’s constitution. Everyone is subjected to the law and also equal before the law. Malaysia practices basically the British system of justice with an independent reliable and dependable judiciary.

  • Safety: Statistics can proof that Malaysia is one of the safest countries. Its crime rate is relatively low.

  • Culture and language: The Malay language (Bahasa Melayu) is the national language of the country. English is the second language but other languages can be freely used and practiced. Similarly the Malays are the dominant race in Malaysia and in the region. But other cultures can be practiced very freely and there is a free intermingling of different cultures.

  • Food and Fruit: All the food of the world can be found here at very reasonable cost.   • Shopping: Most of the items that tourists normally like to buy - perfumes, cosmetics, watches, fountain pens, a long list of electronic goods, branded goods etc. are completely free of tax. Quality goods from all over the world are imported and are relatively low in price and sold throughout Malaysia.

  • Education: The country has one of the best-developed and quality educational systems – both public and private. There are international schools of repute in all major towns with English as the medium of instruction. There are also private colleges and universities offering twinning programs with other well-known universities and major colleges from throughout the world.
